Then there's talk of a "Half-Life Movie", that too hasn't been heard about in awhile.

I hope it is good.. They better involve Hell in the plot. I mean seriously the whole Doom story involves Hell, correct? If the movie is just about random creatures or like a virus turning others into zombies, well I will not watch it. No word on that really, but there was a number of rumors a while back that they switched a lot of stuff like that back so it would be closer to DOOM.
While theres certainly a lot of cues from Aliens in the pictures, it does seem to have kept the DOOM atmosphere.

It's not Doom, pure and simple, its a film mascarading around with the Doom title. wake me up when they get clever enough to actually make a Doom movie, true to the game story and ambiance.
