Actually iPL runs damn stable on 1-4G and Photo/Colours, and is currently in beta for the Nano. And allthough it does kill your warentee, restore your firmware and it never happened

Have a look at ipodwizard.net too, you can customise your iPods images, fonts and text (on any ipod).

Doom on an Ipod is pretty impressive, I thought Doom RPG for my cell phone was l337, looks like I got pwned.

If I wanted something that played music, video, games, and runs on Linux... I'd consider preordering a GP2X, a 1-2GB SD card, and some rechargeable AA batteries (surprisingly, it can play 6 hours of video on 2xAA)... but I'm not in the market for one right now.

Looks pretty cool and in eight years we may have Half-Life 2 on Ipods aswell.
