i completed doom3 on 'veteran' about 15 minutes ago. i also finished farcry on the hardest setting.

farcry is better. not but much. but better.

Doom 3's Z-sec's AI is pretty good, they're actually pretty smart and are challenging!

I'm at the Mars city (I know, the game continously crashes) so far - didn't find it too scary, but have jumped in my seat quite a bit - DAMN those imps!!!!


and A2597, D3 has the most high res textures I've EVER seen in my life - every HL2 texture (seen so far in the vids) pales in comparison - however this is just based on the videos seen so far. This is the best looking game ever. Period.

Far cry, hahah...now that IS a crappy game. D3 is amazing!

if they are anything like all the enemies in doom3, im sure they will be really really easy to beat up.

Being one of the few farcry fans on here id still have to say im alot more impressed with Doom3 than i was with FarCry. FarCry was an amazing piece of work but Doom3 is a masterpiece and is number 1 on my list of best fps games of all time. We'll have to see what HL2 and Stalker can do, oh and FEAR as well.

I was also a big FarCry fan (come on...it was like one big 'ol action movie ), but DOOM blows it out of the water. I have never gotten in tight situations and had my heart pound as consistently.
