Doors ARG

ok, i got normal doors working fine, but,
im trying to make an up and over garage door, you know the kind that rotates around the x axis rather than the y axis.

does anyone have any idea how to do it, i have messed around with the phys_slideconstraint, but cant figure out how to trigger it,
and im prity sure you can't specify the axis on a rotating door.

any help would be much appreciated.

The flags of a func_door_rotating control its axis of rotation.

yeah, use thoe blue spheres to control the axis ot rotation.
 
what you really need to do is make a brush that will be your door. then make another brush covered in the origin texture (it's green, says origin on it). the origin brush acts like a hinge so your door will rotate around it. Select the door and the brush you covered in the origin texture and hit alt-t to tie them to a func_door_rotating. Now go into the flags of your new door and set to x or y axis if you dont want it to be a traditional rotating door ;)
