Can't we remember something better? Everyone sit and remember Rocko's Modern Life.....you know you loved that show.

I speak for all other people named Doug that we all hate that show. It pretty much was the most annoying thing ever for someone to annoy you with.
 
Thread hijacked, now it is rocko's modern life thread. :D That show was way better. I loved the episode where the ghost was possesing all of the appliances and they Got hudge squirt guns filled with spirit away. yeah, those where the days..........damn slutty women took it over. Aka amanda show, etc.

Remember the rocko where he had to make the show for the big heads song? It was called wacky deli and it was so funny...

rocko's modern life was cool. THe new nick makes me cringe, I stopped watching. I couldn't stand the SNL for kiddies shows they had. Spongebob is entertaining, and invader zim rawked.

and as for my opinions: doug sucked, and i saw maybe 2 epesodes of Rockos modern life or w/e it was called so i don't know bout that.

back in those days i watched ren and stimpy lol

Doug was awesome. Rocko's Modern Life was pretty cool, never was a big fan of Ren and Stimpy though

Salute your Shorts (although not animated) took the cake of best Nickelodeon show. I have the wav files of Zeke the Plumber :)
 
i never watched rocko or ren and stimpy; were those on cable?
does anybody know what that cartoon was called, with those two mice that were trying to take over the world... something and the brain? i can't believe i forgot the name of the stupid one...

Beavis and Butthead was by FAR the greatest cartoon duo of all time, i would still watch the show today if it were on.
 
Pinky and the brain rawked! now that was a good show. I never did like ren and stimpy much.
 
how could you not like ren and stimpy!

I remember one episode they were in canada and they were trying to become lumberjacks or something, and there was this mounty guy riding a beaver... o the memories ooo and tree lobsters lol

I loved when they showed a really detailed single frame of something to emphasize the point. Like when ren was sick they showed a pic of him like all sweaty and stuck to the bed and there was like puke and stuff on his face... you know
 
dododo, as far as I know, new episodes of ren and stimpy are on TNN. Also, Rocko's modern life still plays on the nicktoons channel. I assume doug and the rest do too. I also saw Pete & Pete not too long ago on another nickelodeon channel so Salute your shorts is prolly on that too. That's if you get those channels, poor saps.

I've never liked Ren and Stimpy, but I love Rocko's Modern life. I haven't seen it on for ages though :(

I can't stand Doug.
 
eh, my problem with ren and stimpy is too much of that snotty crap stuff. yeah. I don't go for that too much, which is my problem with most nick toons. I can only go through that many fart jokes.

I'd like to throw in aome appreciation for both Spongebob and Invader Zim. Zim seems impossible to find on at any regular time anymore, but Spongebobs on all the time. Some of the episodes are only OK, but a select few are some of the funniest stuff on TV.

Zim was a brilliant cartoon, I know what you mean about the god awful times its on though (those rare occasions that is even on atall)
