I used to use this Media Converter.Org since they had a firefox plug-in that was easy to use, but lately all my conversions have failed.

I'm trying to make a music video DVD, with all video's in MPEG format. The conversions get halfway, stop and fail.

Is there any other simple way to download and music video or anything off Youtube in MPEG format?

I use a Firefox Addon called "Flash Video Resources Downloader" and then FLVExtract to rip the audio from the FLV.

I'm trying the first one (other two aren't proper file types) but it says I need an external application which I can't find. I downloaded what it said I needed and restarted everything to be left with a "You need an external application" once again.

Why is this so ****ing stupid?

You can find all the flash based videos you watch in your browsers cache folder. Just let it download completely and arrange the files by largest first and add .flv, .swf or .mp4 on the end.
