Dr. Breen & that alien thing

What are your comments on Dr. Breens relationship with that green alien he consistently talks to?

Probably the Combine leader.. or a Combine delegate type thing. Perhaps that's what the actual Combine race (not the enslaved/half mechanized human masked 'combine soldiers') looks like.

I think we'll have to fight him in HL3.

I've also been thinking on Xen-
I believe that Nihilanth was Xen's equivelant to Dr. Breen, and the collared Vortigaunts enslaved just as the gasmasked humans. Or possibly Nihilanth may have been under Combine control, but not voluntarily like Breen, but in the same position (notice he had collars, etc on too.)
