Dr. Kleiner will use the C17 PA system this summer

Kleiner (Hal Robbins) piped up and said that he had, and that "This summer Dr. Kieiner would be making an announcement to the residents of City 17 on the PA system" -- whatever that could mean.

So, does this mean that the xpack is set AFTER the main game? Or had Kleiner already done that particular stunt before we arrived at the station? Or is Robbins as clueless about the actual game as Merle is? Flame away!

Okay, well at least that's how it is in HL2. I don't remember much about the stress test except getting depressed at the end by my fps.

You mean just in that map? So in other maps there can actually be multiple screen showing multiple images? I know it's in Source I just didn't think it was in HL2 at all.

Hmm, my guess would be that Kleiner made an announcment to the citizens of C17 to rise up while Alyx and Gordon were in the slow teleport - coz when you come out everything's properly kicked off.

Which makes you think - if Alyx is in the slow teleport she won't hear the announcement and since everything's from the character's eyes (and ears) does this mean it won't be an Alyx based expansion? Or will we hear it as Dog maybe? While Alyx is away we take control of dog and kick it large with the people of the revolution?

I think i can safely say we won't play as dog. We never take control of other things or people in half-life games/mods...it would suck, and being dog would be the same. Just lobbing stuff, smashing...boring after 2 minutes. Can't even hold a gun. So no dog thanks. Alyx mod will do thank you.

I still hope that the rumor about Alyx expansion is false. I really liked her character, voice acting and ... model... alot. It'll suck if youll be like normally in a Valve game, no talk or any cutscenes. Playing as Dog... I really, _really_ hope they dont do THAT.
