I got a Wacom Intuos3 tablet a few weeks ago and I figured I'd share some of my sketches with the forum, and perhaps get some feedback. I'm finally getting used to the tablet, but my artistic skills are still somewhat lacking.

This is the beginning of a sketch I'm still working on. If anyone can figure out what I'm attempting to draw I'll consider it a win.

Hahah, good standard you set for yourself

Anyways, consider it a win! Its obviously a crocodile.

I recognise it from a game... I'm guessing RPG... But, otherwise, it's cool. Gotta get me a sketchypad thing.

Hello Tier 5 Warlock.

Win. Though it's actually Season 2 Gladiator gear, which uses the same models, if you consider the fact that I'm using my own character as the reference for the sketch.

Hm, the link for the first image seems to be dead... Anyway, another one:

Still working on that.

Some of the details didn't turn out quite right. I think I should have used a much higher resolution and a different pen sensitivity.

*bump*

(I'm not very good with hands)

Been a while since I posted anything. Haven't gotten much better.

Some of the proportions seem off to me, particularly the head. Didn't spend much time on it.

His right shoulder seems a little long.

It seems your focusing quite a bit of your attention towards digital sketching/drawing, when really it's probably best for you to get the basics of anatomy, pose and gesture down with a good old trusty pencil on paper before taking the skills you have learnt into the realm of Photoshop and a tablet.

Indeed, some of the proportions are off. If I were you, I would take a good look at the human body and anatomy/life drawing studies before you go straight into trying to make finalised looking pieces in Photoshop. Learn to map out the human body in a certain pose first, then start building mechanical limbs and military outfits on top of that at a later date.

For a second there I was going to tell you that his left arm proportions were HORRIBLY off. xD
