Draw the forum

Inspired by the Halflife2 yearbook thread, i have come up with an amazing idea to make a compilation of the best moments of Halflife2/net in picture form. Seeing that i can't draw, you people will have to do it.

The object of this thread is to get you artists to draw the most memorable moments of the forums history in a picture. So a drawing of a guy dressed in a woman's clothes for the Princess Jen thread, etc.

To help people out, can people come up with the amusing/shocking/disturbing posts and threads, etc, that people might be able to interpret in pictures.

Examples might be a political thread on the Iraq War/hating America/loving America/Abortion/evolution being taught in American schools/etc, or perhaps threads on the delay of Halflife2 when it wasn't released on September 30th, the Princess Jen incident, the continuing messages from newbs wanting to know where the Hydra is, the Halo2 vs Haflife2 fanboy fights. You could also draw pictures of what you think the other characters on the forum look like, by their posts alone, might be a little controversial, but should spice things up a bit .

Things like that.

Your pictures can be funny or they can be dark and meaningful. Just something that can tell the history of the forum in pictures.

Other examples for pictures might be a Presidential debate between George W. Bush and CptStern, a picture of what you might think Munro looks like (Emperor Palpatine comes to mind ), or even a picture of Sulkdodds drawing his hl2.net comic strip.

edit: Shippy keeps going on about the "Gloglebag incident" and that people have to draw that but she unfortunately can not explain what the heck that is or why it should be included, probably drinking her mums whiskey again :rolling: :burp:

A couple of friends I knew way back started this craze off, drawing stick figures to fit things written in IRC, apparantly a few sites do this now (but they were first!) Anyhoo they aren't here so I thought I'd have a go for a laugh. Basically take something somebody said, and draw a silly scene for it, it should fit but doesn't have to fit in with what was actually meant by the original post. Anybody should be able to do this btw.

ahh no, doesn't work like that, the quotes are simply found randomly, can't ask for them to be done, it spoils it

and it only works with older posts when people werent trying I'm sure you've said a few things that could be turned into funny pictures, i probably have too *panics*

Flash has some neat features, the pen effect it does automatically and looks pretty neat, and then also you can paint behind things quickly, no messing with layers or trying to fit things, gives a unique sketch look to it that I kinda like. I was gonna use photoshop at first.
