I know this rumor has made the rounds for years but I have never seen IGN make an official statement about the rumor. Also, the possibility of Kevin Smith directing it sounds interesting. I was never a huge fan of his work. I always thought his humor was immature and pointless, but it sounds like he's a huge Star Wars fan, so it could be good. What do you think about this possibility?

And i was hoping the rumour was pertaining to the final 3 episodes of Star Wars, numbers 7, 8 and 9.

edit: Oh great.........Silent flipping Bob is going to do a Star Wars tv series, i would have more trust in the Aliens Vs Predator director doing it. :hmph:

That was a really good trilogy back in the 70's/80's we had once....

Just isn't any fun no more. I'll stick with my new boxed set of the original movies on DVD and to hell with the TV series
