deja vu dreams? yes these are so annoyingly commen it makes me sick of myself. j/k, but they still piss me off.
 
Sometimes, if I'm hyped up about an event... then I dream about all the possible outcomes of it :| strange.... and usually not one of them comes true, becuase I make decisions based on my dreams like LoneD... :)

anyone ever dreamed about running while they're dreaming, and then dreamed about tripping over, and you actually lurch forward in your bed and headbutt the person next to you? i've also dreamt about a frying pan falling to the floor in slow motion, then jerk awake the second it hits the ground.
 
i've dreamt of being killed and leaping (yes, leaping) out of the bed onto the floor, it hurts ;(
 
Letters, you must be in love. someone told me that people who are in love have less dreams and remember even fewer. single people have more dreams and they're more vivid. apparently.

i remember one dream i had about Gabe Newell, he was standing in a meeting room wearing the same tshirt he wore to the ATi event on Alcatraz and was mouthing off about those "****in dealers are ruining our patch man". i think i watched Goodfellas or Blow the night before or something. weird.
 
wow! i must be in love all the time then! when i leap out of bed, i dont know why after wards + it happenps very rarely.
 
i should be so lucky, not at the moment. but one can dream (haha, its a pun, cos the title of the thread is about dreams, hahaha).

i do think about love quite often, is that the same?

awww badger's in love. you gonna tell her properly or still waiting for the right moment? i remember when i thought i was in love with my best friend (female). let's just say things turn out different to how you'd imagine them to be. so choose wisely.

Yeah, we're still friends, I told her how I felt, and said I'd love us to stay friends... as opposed to me trying to get with her and f*cking it up, I might talk to her and say i'd like to be more than friends. But yeah, she knows, and we're still good mates... yeah, she is one of my female best mates :p
 
i know you're not obsessed with it, we're just exploring it.

i think everyone muses over their future wife and stuff, it's pretty normal. and it's pretty normal to be confused about it too.

i personally do not wish to get married, because i've seen what a woman can do to a decent bloke. also, women get in the way of careers. i can either have a career or a wife. i'll go for the career and casual sex please.
 
love is too complicated for me to comprehend, i'll just go blow myself up and be done with it.

she'd never cos she's young. that's what i found out. probably still wants to explore and whatever else. you've still got a lot of growing up to do, even if you feel like you're mature enough. she'll still be there in a years time, two years and beyond.
 
Erm, this I doubt, since this time in two years, we'll be off to university... very far apart ;(

I have crazy dreams about chicks. Just like a week ago I had a dream about this red head in my film and video class, shes super hot. Only in my dream she was like disfigured, her head was all screwed up in shape and size, her teether were mising in spots and they were crooked, and she had like acne and pimples that were like an inch long. So ugly. But the real her is super hot, so its worth it.

I also had this crazy dream once where I was running around on like a Jamacian beach with these two hot girls and I was giving a piggy back to one of them. Only she was turned the opposite way, like her body was in front of my face, she was naked, and I was goin down on her hardcore while running. Wierd, but it was cool, cause she was hot.


Ever be lieing in bed, not yet asleep but just about there, and start "falling". Your just lieing there and then WHAM you jerk up to save yourself from falling, then realizing 2 seconds later that your in bed and not about to fall to your death. Happens all the time to me, I tihnk iits cool.

That happens to me when I start falling asleep when I'm not really supposed to be sleeping. Heh... sometimes it feels like maybe you were out for a little bit, but it was really just a couple seconds... luckily...

I always hit my leg on the foot of my bed, IT HURTS!

I once had this re-occuring dream where I was flying over escalators at zellers and then I would fall to my death.
 
when i was younger all my dreams ended by me falling. of course you can't die in a dream so i would wake up as i hit the ground.... kinda odd that i would always wake up right when i was supposed to in the morning, like my mind knew it was almost time to wake up so it's time for the nightly plunge.

i don't dream like that anymore... i miss those dreams, there was so much variety... giant dark vertical slides, bridges, 3rd floor of a large shopping mall. Those were the common ending of my dreams.
 
I always tend to have those dreams where you're like doing some sort of verb, err... you know, like an action such as kicking, running, jumping, etc. But then, right when it happens, I do the exact same movement in my bed and jerk forward and wake up, and I'm like, "What the f*ck??" Then I go back to sleep...

Also, ever since I've been in about 4th grade, it seems like a reoccuring pattern that after a girl in my class (or that I know) appears in any of my dreams (even if she doesn't play a main role at all), I end up either liking her a lot, or just straight out bein' in love with her all of a sudden the next morning. It's really weird, but I found the love of my life this way, heh. :)

All my friends have featured in my dreams sooner or later, though theres this one girl who's almost always in them...but really, has anyone else had a situation where they can control their dreams, make choices within the dream? I never have nightmares. My subconcious won't hold with it. Whenever im having a nightmare, I choose (in the dream) to switch on the light, or go and save whoever's in trouble, or whatever. Very strange...call Freud!
 
I usually dream of stuff which involves school and random objects.

I nodded off yesterday and had to take control just to wake myself up (was a nightmare of sorts, I'd gone into some town, then came home then went back again only to find it was getting dark real quick and rather than the nightlife starting up, all the stores and lights in the area were switching off and the only people I saw seemed to be worried about something up ahead around the corner, some sh*t was going to happen and I wasn't quite in the mood to be there when it did heh) had to force myself to shake violently in the dream so I'd start shaking for real and wake up.. it was kinda funny really lol.. actually it took a while to come out of it properly so for those first few seconds when your not quite with it it was kinda disturbing

I reckon I only dreamt it cause I was procrastinating and putting off going into town for real.. and I still haven't got off my arse to go haha
 
I had a dream the other nite about these talking anime style cats, and one had babies, and this other one tried to steal them and beat that one up real good. I can't remember the last time I even watched any anime but I'm kinda scared to now.
 
I have dreams of falling, usually when I'm going to sleep. Sometimes I also get a massive, whole body jerk before I drift off.

When I was young, I used to dream that I was lying down in the middle of the road, unable to move (it felt like gravity had increased exponentially), and this big truck was always in the distance, always coming towards my prone body, but never getting any closer. Sometimes one of my family members was at the side of the road, shouting and reaching out to me.

I also sometimes have lucid dreams, dreams where I know that I am dreaming, and have concious control over my actions. I can even voluntarily wake up. Lucid dreams are FUN. Like being inside your own computer game.

On the subject of nightmares, I once had a dream that I was being chased by a giant, rotten pumpkin. With a knife. Go figure.

I also have dreams of flying. I sometimes think that if I could remember how one flys in a dream, I'd be able to do it in real life.

Oh, how I love dreams.
 
Brian, when I was young I had very similar dreams. I'd have fallen off the kerb of the road and into the "gutter" and I'd be in a massive panic, but no matter how hard I try I just can't get out. Almost like the kerb is too high but it isn't. I just can't climb it.

I occasionally have dreams where I'll get into a situation where I need to defend myself, such as a fight. And I'll go to punch someone and there'll be no strength in the punch. Like I've got a lead weight for a fist, I just can't punch.

There was once when I was about 10 and I closed my eyes to go to sleep then woke up almost immediately and 10 hours had passed.

I was ill once and I was having this dream about our big old AST laser printer blowing up. It was even bigger than it was in real life and in the dream I was with it in a darkened room then it just started beeping, I knew it was going to explode then the red lights on it flash and I wake up to reality with a start, really scared, look up towards the ceiling and I can still see what happened in the dream. I just see a light flashing really fast then I'm fine.

When I was little I used to sleep walk. I'd go to bed about 8pm and my mum and dad would stay downstairs and watch TV. I'd get up out of bed, walk downstairs, groan at my mum and dad, walk up to the TV, take down my pijama bottoms and try to take a leak up the television. Luckily my mum stopped me.

Oooh, I could go on for hours...
My ex girlfriend used to do some crazy stuff when she was asleep. We were snuggled up together in bed and her phone went off quietly. She heard it, woke up, picked up the phone, dropped it on my head, hit me in the arm and started panicking "Chris! Your mum's on the phone wake up!!" and then she started crying.

People do some crazy shit when they're asleep.

Oh, another one.
I quite frequently stay up quite late if I'm not at work the next day or it's a weekend. So I'll stay up on the forums or playing games or downloading stuff and watching movies etc. That usually means that by 12am my mum will be in bed, and I'll just go to bed then when I'm bored.
Anyway, roughly between the hours of 2am and 5am at some point during the night you'll hear my mum swearing her head off for about 5 minutes: "NO **** off, I don't wanna ****ing do that. You bitch why did you do that to me, get the **** out you pissing **** BITCH!!!!" :D makes me laugh.

I ask her about it and she never remembers.
 
My sis gabbles things in her sleep. She also sleepwalks.

Usually, she'll walk down the hall into the toilet, use it, then walk back to her bedroom. If you intercept her at any point in the hall-traversing process, she'll stop and babble incoherently at you.

Some times she walks out into the loungeroom, and we all get gabbled at. Occaisionally something coherent comes through... like "wsfl gbl so remember to pick me up outside the shops, okay? ghsfbl wghl" or "mbufgl dmblghe my uniform's itchy glfghl dwmble". The latter was said while wearing a nightgown.

Usually she just giggles afterward, and walks off.

I also occaisionally sleepwalk. Last time it happened was at a sleepover. According to my friends, I got out of my sleeping-bag, walked out to the kitchen, opened the fridge, said "Cold.", got out the orange juice, walked into a wall a couple of times before heading to the bench, walked smack into the corner of the bench, stood back a little and said "Hello Mr. Pointy!", then proceeded to pour myself a bowl of orange juice.

Then the mother of the guy whose house we were sleeping at walked in, and I remember waking up from a very weird dream, in which I was exploring Antarctica, to find the lady staring at me, and all my friend peeking around the corner of the door.

I have never lived it down.

Oh, and that punch thing happens to me in real life. I can splinter a wooden board with a punch or kick, but whenever I've had to punch someone, it's like my muscles have just frozen up, as if some part of my subconcious mind just doesn't want to hurt my target. Weird.
 
i had something like that, when i played "settlers 1" (?) there's already a 4th part of it, way too long..really long, i had my kingdom infront of me seeing all those ppl walking around, while i lay in the dark.

once i went through the area where i live with my dad by bicycle. i cloedd my eyes for a moment and saw i was gonna crash into his bike. ten minutes later it really happend..that was kinda scary :D

another one: when i was like 5 or 6 i always had a dream, it was the same dream everytime. at this time i lived in a huge, old (110 years?) building, for several families. there was a main door and some stairs going up to the first floor. that are some meters, maybe like 10 or 15 foot? i dreamed i would jump down there and suddenly the stairs went bigger, the bottom disappeared and i never hit the ground o_O..that was weird
