im 17 and i drive by myself most of the times. its not illegal unless they catch you :p

Driving without a license is illegal by all means :p My friend drove without his license, didn't have it then, and if he didn't get it like before the trial, he was looking @ not being allowed to get it till he was 21. Its not worth the risk IMO, so I just drive at the beach normally :p

I probably could've started taking driving lessons when I was 16, but I waited 'til 17. I don't get my license until a little before I turn 18. I don't really care about driving anyways, so it makes no difference to me.

Precisely what I've done. I'm kicking myself for it now, though :|

I had a liscence for two years before I'd used it ten times...

cars are nice, but too expensive, and I didn't need one at the time...

My brother started driving at 13. he'd steal the car and drive dounuts. my mom called the cops once. he was nuts.

Where I live you're allowed a driving permit when you are fourteen, a day license when fifteen, and a full license when sixteen. I decided to wait until I was sixteen until I drove at all. I don't think there is any need for someone to drive younger than sixteen.

I also agree with blahblahblah's statement about increasing the driving age. I don't trust sixteen years olds, let alone kids 14 and 15, on the road.

I'm 16 and my parents are letting me get a motorbike licence and new bike. Riding a bike is way harder than driving a car, its because i've been riding for over 6 years that they'll let me go for it.
As for a car licence, I don't care too much for cars, large, heavy unpredictable hunks of metal flying down the road by moron drivers..... excellent :|
