I can't imagine it's useful having your crosshair censored :p

I just can't get used to the whole gap in the image thing. . .

same problem with the Ds. . .

It's either 3-screen gaming or 1-screen gaming ... For a very obvious reason that should be right infront of your eyes.

Whilst it looks pretty, it's about as impractical as you can get (gaming wise anyway).

yeah set up dual monitors last night, pwns at EvE!!! Kind of annoying in the middle tho :/

Dual monitors is awesome, especially for video editing and the like.

I never could get used to that gap.

Some day, I'm sure someone will create the poor man's 'large monitor' setup that incorporates several smaller ones instead of the futuristic giant ones, that provides an optical illusion to adjoin the edges so that it is seamless... through optical trickery.

I got a dual screen setup but I never play with it. I did play some with a dual 32" HDTV set up once, but again... the edge is in the middle :(

Looked awesome though :p

I have a nice little widescreen and this tiny 14 inch flatscreen. So I dont use the little one unless I bust out Sup Com, where I use it for my radar :D

That gap would drive me NUTS.

Would love a second monitor for editing work and stuff, though.

It would also seem you fail at calibrating your monitors correctly.

Wow, let's try to guess the games! They look very obscure and unheard of! I have never seen such games in the latests media outlets.

Don't see the point tbh. The gap just ruins it.

that is seriously awesome. ive always wanted duel moniters, but it does cost a lot, and there isent really much point, apart from video editing, and picture editing. any kind of editing. not to mention the fact you can play a game on one, and watch porn on the other. - winks -

QFT.

My buddy has a 3-monitor setup....****ing incredible.

On a side note how easy is it to set up a 3 screen set up with Nvidia SLI if its at all possible?

I may sound like a noob for asking this, but how do you set it up for dual monitor gaming. I would really like to try this!!!

Take a look at your graphics card, plug whatever you want to any extra outputs you find there. Configure your graphics card drivers and/or Windows to use the additional outputs the way you want.

that is awesome I mean why wouldn't it be? But of course the gap is apparent but I'd get used to it if it is a game other than a fps. But fps are games I mainly play so I personally would get a huge widescreen monitor.

I have dual monitors for doing photoshop on, but it would drive me nuts to have the bar in the middle for gaming tbh :rolling:

It's Alan. All threads he makes are showoff threads. Surpised he didn't fit in his other shit in there.

...

Totally man. Alan, you ****ed up. You could have had a picture of your car across the two monitors. Or your stockpile of PS3s.

They are 24" lcd's and i actually just returned one tonight at best buy and my brother is buying my 24"LG tomorrow.

On top of all that tomorrow morning im going to best buy and getting (3) 22" LG monitors cause there $264 each and my brothers giving $400 for the 24"LG So ill post agian the new setup for those who care . This is truly going to be an emersive gaming experiance tomorrow haha, never thought i'd have a 3 way with my monitors.... ewww that didnt come out right:eek:

For a flight sim maybe. Multiple monitors no matter what the setup do not work with FPS games designed for a single monitor. It just looks bad.

I've tried going with 3 monitors in a game before but that 2nd video card was always a let down ingame (pci). Hmm I've got a board with 2 16x slots now. Might have to try something next time I upgrade my GPU. 19" lcd and 2x 17" crts. The LCD and matching CRTs are similar height too.

I'm pretty sure when in SLI mode it will only output to 1 display.

And your address, and a list of times when you'll be out...

You say that now. Wait until you see it hovering in mid-air under it's own power.

Is it possible to run 3 monitors on a video card with only 2 monitor outputs? Some kind of splitter perhaps?

I've had dual monitors for a while, and it's good for some things, but I have room on my desk for 3 monitors...

EDIT: sorry, I didn't see the 3rd page of posts
