Dual Monitor setup?

Would it be worth the money to buy a second monitor to run dual monitor?

What are the advantages and also how does it work?

Does your mouse just drag over from one monitor to the other?

It is good for designing, working on large (lots) of spreadsheets/documents and flight sims. I use it when doing webpages so you can see the pages "real time" and on different size monitor. I work on a 21 inch and have a 17 as a secondary. Yes the mouse just drags over and you can have 2 desktops. You cant have dif wp though.

I have dual monitors and I love it. But I use it mostly for photoshop and stuff like that
