Hmmm... a gravity gun... or a weapon made from a pencil, a straw, two rubber bands, a paper bag, and a pack of Altoids? That's a tough choice. :laugh:

Masta chief> library lvl, then he surely can take on a pussy hell knight.

Master Chief would have to get close enough to the Hell Knight in order to shoot him in the head, at any sort of distance the shotgun would be useless. The Hell Knight would simply stomp on him. Also the Hell Knight has natural armour, his hide is probably thicker than Master Cheif's suit.

Come on guys, the Hellknight is a wussy!

He may look cool, but anyone who can walk in a circle and pull a trigger can take one down with ease.

No chance :)
 
If the Doom guy could take down this beast, then Master Chief shouldn't have any trouble taking down it as well. :P
 
But think of the number of times in Doom you had to reload after being smashed by a Hellknight.

The only reason protagonists are better than any NPC is the fact that they can reload the game. If you had a "One-life-only" mode, NPCs in most games would have a fighting chance.

Therefore, Hellknight wins. Although, I think you should have drawn a Doom 2 one.

Wrong. Tell me in Halo 2 how many weapons can you carry at a time?
Exactly. The game rules still apply to the character, he can't carry all those weapons except fi the game he is in says he can. But they don't so...... yeah...
Then you also don't get unlimited ammo, so if you take a rocket launcher you have to spend your rockets carefully. Any miss fux you.
 
But masterchiefs armor can recharge, while the hell knights can't.

If it were halo2.net or doom3.net I might see a direct connection... but how does liking Half-Life 2 make a fight between Halo and Doom characters unfair?

well considering that people joined halflife2.net because they liked halflife2, i think if they liked halo2 then they would have joined a halo2 site...

Heh. Go and play Doom 3, and face a Hell Knight with only a shotgun, and take him down with one hit. Won't happen. All the Hell Knight would have to do is get a hold of MC, or hit him with a few of those green plasma/fire balls and it would be over.

So, it's not like people take the master chef out in 1 hit either. Plus the HK's fire-balls can be destroyed.

If i hellknight cant die, eventually MC will run out of ammo. Squish time :afro:

Never said MC would die in one hit. xlucidx said one shotgun blast to the face of a Hell Knight would kill him, which isn't true. I'm pretty sure one shotgun blast to the back of MC's head would kill him (if I remember correctly from fragging people in Halo. :sniper:) HK's fireballs can be destroyed, but he has an unlimited ammount of them.

Haven't you noticed? - many PC fans hate Halo. Most pc fans like HL2. Many of them frequent this forum. So we have lots of people who don't like Halo on this forum voting on this poll ..... hence the result ;)

You could say the samething about the Doom marine vs Hell Knight.
 
if you make a logical comparison between master chief and a doom marine then you will know that master chief could definitly take down a hell knight


ok so doom marine very badass in a space suit
mc also badass in a space suit with shields green suit

in doom 3 you can kill a hell knight with the chain saw relitivly easily so they we head to halo 2 with a sword that allows you to lock onto your enemy and slice throught it seeing at its like a light saber. so mc could definitly beat a hell knight

This isn't a competition of literals, it's a competition of badass factor.

The Doom Marine would ****ing own MC in the first round, and the Hellknight in two.

Actually, aside from that joke, there are many "Doom Marines", the player plays 2 of them from Doom 1 to Doom3 : RoE
