the more leaked screens and renders I see the more it looks to me that 3drealms was moving towards a darker less humouress version of Duke than previous games

To be honest I think Duke looking like plastic makes sense, Duke always was the action figure type, he was never trying to be a realistic portrayel of an actual person.

Except he is right. It is plasticy. The Duke model is the only one I dont like of his though. The other two are pretty good.
