just played through some of the demo. It's sorta like a 3rd person 3d diablo. It has 3 playable races a few playable classes, although the demo wouldnt allow for character stats or appearance changes. The fighting is pretty good although there's only a few variations to swings and blocks but fighting more than a few enemies at a time is a challege as the dodge and parry and run around your swings making it difficult to strike a lethal blow. The demo is pretty big and full of goblins wolves scorpians and other nasties ..I spent most of the time running away from packs of monsters ..died alot. Hit R to revive yourself after you've died

Well technically Diablo 2 uses some 3D(Which is why you can check your FPS). Not all 3D.

The problem from making it...like Diablo would be the setting. Diablo has a huge ass past that is over the top amazing. It tells how the prime evils were banished, why heaven still stands, and about the Sin War and the Great War.

Diablo deals with Hell. Goblins are not..hellish.... Demons are hellish.

So before you call it a 3rd person 3d Diablo you should remember that. I mean maybe the gameplay might be like it but, in Guild Wars how it works is like it but that dosn't mean it is like it.

Just wanna clear that up. Very few games are in the same setting as Diablo, VERY FEW. Most gamse take the traditional fantasy setting. Diablo dosn't which is kind of why it is so great.

I really feel strongly about Diablo so... I hate when people push "Traditional Fantasy" with Diablo Fantasy.
