Dystopia Teaser Video

The recent flood of gamers to Dystopia's web server kicked the team into over drive to put the finishing touches on the teaser video. This 1 minute purely in game video shows off our special flavour of cyberpunk action. This video was created from demos recorded during our nightly playtest sessions and features a backing track created by our very own Graincloud.

We're confident that after watching the video you'll have a good idea of what Dystopia is all about. It includes footage of nearly every implant and weapon as well as footage from both the Real World and CyberSpace areas of Dystopia.

The video is encoded with bink, which means there's no hassle with codecs. It's 24 meg zipped up. You can download it from these locations:

"As it seems to be the first questions a lot of new forum users are asking, I'd just like to make it clear that we're not currently looking for more play testers. We're honestly over the moon that so many people are so eager to get into Dystopia and help out however they can.

Dystopia is in closed beta testing. We currently we have a very full roster of dedicated testers. We're holding the number down to 20 at the moment. We run only 1 test server and have multiple play test sessions during the week, the server is generally full.

The 20 current testers are gamers who have played with many of the Team Dystopia members in previous games. They're all local to Australia (since that's where our server is hosted, thanks APGN!) and by and large they're guys we've met face to face and shared frags, food and beer with.

So, thanks for your interest but you've only just joined the back of a very long line of people wanting into the test!"

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOD!!! i saw the video, and i'm amazed at the quality of the mod, it looks absolutely stunning!

The only fault I could find with this mod judging from the video is the iffy map design in some areas. Some parts of it are basically bland small rooms with little detail in them. Though, yet again, it's probably because of the early stage of developement.
