And does it look like them old 3d glass with red and green glasses what you use to get to see in 3d but is this alot better. If some 1 can find any cheaper and for the same or better glasses please could you tell me.

Thanks

Eh don't bother with that crap, if you enjoy something off your monitor as it is then E-D glasses wont make it any better.

is the batteries 1 you said not to get because that you just got to keep changing them every 2 minutes because they use so much power? so get the 1 with the wires

I just got this a few days ago, im using a x800xt and got the game Flatout and Chrome to work but no valve game work with it.

how does the monitors refresh rate affect the glasses :cheese:
I've never used them personally, but the way they operate... a properly supported game renders every other image from a slightly differing perspective. The glasses are actually small lcd screens that can change from opaque to transparent very very quicky. When the image that represents the left eye is rendered, the right LCD screen goes black so you can only see it with the left eye; and vise versa with the other eye.
This creates the effect of parallax, and makes the image appear 3D. Obviously, whatever frame rate and monitor refresh rate you get is effectively cut in half.

I hear that you need to be able to use a 100+ Hz refresh rate for them to be very usable. 120 is better, 150 is close to ideal.

At least that was the state of things a couple years ago. I'm assuming the technology hasn't changed drastically...
