When exactly is the E3 trade show? Isn't it in March? And does anyone care to speculate on what we might see this year? Possibly a new console? I hope so :)

They're held in May, usually around the middle of the month. Always an exciting time. :)

Yep, what he said ^^^

I'm hoping to get pleasently suprised by Sony and/or Microsoft with the next-gen consoles, or atleast advanced previews of the kind of stuff they can put out.

Shouuld be a great show for games too :)

Ooooh ok, I knew it was one of those "M" months, just not sure which one :)

I too hope we will see some new consoles appear, along with some launch title previews... If nothing else, maybe some more UE3 and TES media

Pretty sure we'll see PS3 and X-box 2. Can't wait too see them. :)

I want all the next gen consoles, but mostly :

"Nintendo president Sataru Iwata has proclaimed to the Japanese newspaper Kyoto Shimbun that the GameCube's successor will create a 'paradigm shift' in gaming. His statements form part of a continuing agenda to position Nintendo as the force for innovation in the games industry. Iwata has said that he expects his company to move things forward in gaming, with 'difference' being its keyword for the coming years. The intention is clearly to distance Nintendo from Sony, which Iwata has previously slammed for relying on 'old formulas' for the PSP.

There's no question that the success of the DS has strengthened Nintendo's stance on this issue. Skepticism abounded when the company first announced its twin-screened handheld, and many dismissed the entire concept as empty gimmickry. However, games like Made In Wario: Touched! and the forthcoming Catch! Touch! Yoshi! demonstrate very clearly that the immediacy of the touchscreen control method is very appealing to non-gamers. If Nintendo can produce a hardware design which is welcoming to new players, and then rise to the challenge of designing suitable games and marketing them to people who have no interest in what gaming currently offers, then its claims for a paradigm shift may well be justified."

Something 'new' is always very welcome - wonder what it'll be.

hmmm interesting, bar the virual boy, nintendo does deserve the innovatiion nod IMHO... I love nintendo games, they always feel new and nostalgic at the same time, not to mention the main nintendo licenses are always a big production and a blast to play... and whats best, EA doesn't own them :)

Valve forgot that they released Half-Life 2 already so that will be making an appearance.

Seriously though, I hope they have a TF2 announcement soon.
