You said the game ("Old Republic" is the game) looked beautiful. Me being old and jaded has nothing to do with you saying something other than what you meant. If you said "that cinematic for The Old Republic is beautiful" I would have agreed. Except for the Jedi Kamehameha and the part where the guy exploded a grenade in his hand while grappling with the dark jedi but nothing happened except for some blackened scratch marks on both of them and the guy even shot the flare pistol with the same hand the grenade exploded in. That part was dumb.
 
Oh man--a Sly Cooper HD Collection for PS3!!! This is INSANE. I totally didn't expect this but if there is a set of games that will totally benefit from an HD (3D too?) upgrade it is these amazing titles. REALLY hope the Ico collection gets announced this week as well.

You can hear them just on the edge of hearing above the other people murmering... "The spheres are scattered out around the facility"... "Disembodied voice of GLaDOS"... "GLADOS had a particular arc in the first one"...

It's all happening.

Ok, they have done the interview with 1up. 1up however don't have the portal 2 footage and don't know what the surprise is, they will get that tomorrow morning. Supposedly Doug has it on usb in his hotel room or something. For future proof: Doug wears a black and grey horizontally striped shirt in the video.

Yeah, just watched that.

I also laughed at the guy with the green shirt. Some user told him to raise his arms if he read the message and the guy turns around and gave the middle finger to the camera :LOL:
 
Whoops, I missed the Ubisoft conference for a party. Worth it.

AC: Brotherhood looks good, though. Hopefully that attack/defend will carry over into the multiplayer.

Calm down, ese. It's already been established that the Old Republic Jedi's were much more powerful than the New Republic ones.
You need to brush up on your Expanded Universe, meng.

Those were just Republic troopers. They look similar because no one has any imagination.

Or Clone armor was based on those old designs.

I'm just watching the rerecord of the ubi conference and its pretty crap :|

Assassin's creed and ghost recon look good but nothing else so far. EA wins so far (kinda sad when they missed out so much) and MS is the e3 i think i've ever seen :flame:

BTW where is BG&E2? o_O
 
I hate so much that this motion control craze has taken over E3 this year. We had a Michael Jackson (and don't get me wrong, I love ole MJ) dancing game cap off a press conference, half hour speeches about how this game is so revolutionary that it BUILDS MUSCLE, 3 BILLION other games that involve you waving your limbs through the air.

And tomorrow we'll see Sony shoving Move and 3D down our throats.

Is Nintendo getting set to reveal the next "LET'S SCRAMBLE TO CREATE OUR OWN VERSION" idea?
 
I am tired of all these Star Wars games set in the past. The Old Republic is fine, but nothing beats the excitement of playing during the days of the Empire. Ep IV-V-VI is where Star Wars shines, in my opinion.
 
I'm tired of all these Star Wars action games that arent sequels to the Jedi Knight series.

Quoted for ****ing truth. Lucasarts has been really stupid in that regard, their recent games could've had so much more success if they were taken in a different direction. The old republic era was just too far removed from what's familiar to most players.
