EB, are they nuts or is it just me?

very wierd- if the prima guide ships well then we know november is wrong.
 
exactly, if the prima guide hits shelves on the 24th, def. expect the game on 9/30.
 
gamestop is fuxxed too.. they say feb. 4th. i still pre ordered it.. those fags
 
But how can they ship the whole guide before the acual game is even out... or is that a comon thing? To me it seems a bit

It's the most common thing to do. Ship the guide usually a week before the game ships.

That happens a lot... guide before game... it IS odd... but... okay! I've never bought one, but I doubt they're very good...

If it's going to make the release date, then the game probably needs to go gold by at least the 20th.....

One the Gold Master gets to the printing press everyone would know. All printing presses are 3rd party so there is no chance they would hide it...

EB are idiots when it comes to release dates. Hell they were taking PREORDERS for Duke Nukem Forever in 1999
 
This is definetely something to save and show to people who quote dates from retailers as proof of delays. should shut them right up.
 
I was eating dinner near an EB tonight and just for fun, I decided to stop by and find out the "release date." Anways, the guy there was having a very deep conversation about Halo, but I interupted and he told me that it had been Nov 19, but that it changes every once in a while, so he checked his computer and it said Nov 20.

I wonder if we'll see the dates gradually creep forward as we get closer to the 30th, or if they'll all just snap back all at once.

My eb does this all the time. Guides are usually out around a week before the game.

Well at my local GAME (I'm in England), they had someone foreign working there, so I couldn't even get a competent sentence about the release date from, let alone the fact he probably knows nothing about the gaming world...
