Eb Games Admits.....

OK, THis isn't a delay thread so mods, please don't close this. I went to EB yesterday to put somore money down on HL2. I asked the clerk of the release date and he says November 15th. I tell him that online and all official info points to the 30th of Septemeber. He's like, "Oh, well our date says November 15th. BUt THAT CAN ALWAYS CHANGE THOUGH." I guess my whole point is that EB employees don't know everything. HE says the companies are really bad about updating their websites and stuff. So, my point is that EB Gamesis really good at getting their games on time, but they get their release dates fromt he company's website, which sometimes may be out of date due to the lack of upgrades. SO if you walk into a game retailer, and they tell you a date other than the 30th, don't come here posting your crap about "OMFG, HL2 IS DELAYED!!!!!!!!!" The retailers don't know anything about release so just wait for the 30th and when youhave your game, youwon't be thinking about all this delay crap.

To add to the confusion, I asked at an EB here in Vancouver and the guy told me they have it listed as Oct. 14th...

I don't know why people even bother thinking about trusting retailers when they've been proven to have information that is totally bunk time and time again. People should know what you said here just by common sense by now.

Well, I was at my EBX over the weekend, and he said that their dates said Nov. 15th, but he was actually part of the HL 2 community. He said him personally was pretty confident that it would be coming out earlier (a.k.a 9/30) ...and he thinks that their computers release date is BS.
