I know in one of my classes they said about 1% of the population has a genetic condition where they are immune to HIV. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with these people, dont the T-cells kill others that have been infected, where in a "normal" person, there is something that prevents them from doing so?

If there is one thing i hate more than anything else it is viruses, disgusting humans pass them round like rabbits.
