I disagree, capitalism is just making it easier to exploit these people, the selling off of public services, and the adoption on conservative polices, so the USA will cancel the debt just isn't heping.

There are alot of rich Multicorperations in these countries, hording all the money, robbing the resources ect. The people of these countries need to rise up, seize the wealth, becuase right now these countries cant afford to have a upper class, there just isnt enough wealth.

Theres lots of natural resources in Africa for example, instead of multicorps getting these profits, the state would, which would in turn invest it into health care and such.

I think Russia is a perfect example. Russia was in a state many third world countries are in today, in the pre revolutionary period. Even with the famines, and lack of infrastructure, workers councils were built up, and a workers militia introduced.

These places however, arn't very likely to produce a succesful communist movement, if there isolated. If it was an international revolution, we could all give them a hand.

higher/middle class. honestly.

lived in Malaysia, Australia and Dubai...never payed tax or vat, so we just RAKED it in. now my dad is one of the most saught after managers in his field...hes in South Africa at the mo, whilst we sit here in crappy UK :E

China's economy really started to boom after they switched from the communistic socialist model to a capitalist model.

I think for a developed nation though, a healthy balance of socialism and capitalism is needed. Free healthcare, money and housing if you're out of work. But a free-market economy. It's more complicated with developing countries, but I don't think a quick extremise plan is going to help them.

Wrong.

It was never communist but state capitalist. Chinas Strong economy, is based on the mass exploitation, of the largest worker population in the world. Workers in china work many hours in crap conditions. The average joe gets no benifit of the strong economy, except for the minority upper class.

You do realise that the Marxist definition of the working class no longer exists?

Hmm you do have a point, I guess the workers are now exploited in a different manner, but there exploited all the same.

Start the revoultion....... Comrade

Wrong (urgh, how...cliche).

Yes the workers do work long hours but that's better than being a starving farmer out in the fields. At least now there is enough food for everyone. Better than such communist greats, like "The Great Leap Forward" or "The Cultural Revolution".
The Cultural Revolution was the epitome of Communism, with every service becoming socialist and collectivist. It was a terrible time.

The middle class is growing, the people have a better life than true-communist times. That much should be obvious. Not better than the days when they had an Emperor, but they were very mercentile, Capitalist people back in those days.

The working class is getting bigger too though, since a lot of peasants are being upgraded to working class.

TBH, extreme communism or socialism is terrible, as is extreme capitalism. You have to have balance. Workers will be exploited whatever the case..... You could automate everything and let them become middle-class? At least with mass-production they have access to a lot of commodities, with free-market you can encourage innovation and provide better, cheaper commodities, which the working class can afford.
