to the unenlightened, perhaps. i cant wait to have bush as our president again. great man, great president, bush/cheney '04! w00t!

This coming from the "enlightened" one who thinks counting republican states means Bush is winning.

I'm pissed at Kerry now for not wining. A lot of blah blah blah.

CBS shows bush with 179, projecting that he won utah and montana.

Wow bush is just clearing the place out....hot damn.

no, that wasnt my point. my point was that those states are confirmed. as of right this very second, he is winning. end of discussion. kerry will get california. but that doesnt mean it's confirmed yet.

No, he's not. That "win" is meaningless as I said. That's like looking at a horse race, taking half the horses out of the picture and saying the one in the lead of the remaining ones is winning. It's meaningless with respect to the race.

no one is saying he "won". he is WINNING CURRENTLY, GIVEN THE STATES THAT HAVE THEIR VOTES PROJECTED. thats like going to a basketball game, and i say one team is winning and you say "no they arent." are you stupid?

Ummm...well they have lots of states left.Like California...which counts for 55...so..no one has won yet.

I said: No one has won...yet.

Bush will probably get Ohio and Flordia though, cancelling out California.

Yes, I take stupid lessons regularly.

This is not the same thing as a basket ball game. Nobody knows in a basketball game who's going to score what points. But as I've said, we already knew that Bush was going to win those states. That is a key difference. That's why I say it's meaningless to say he's winning. Nobody can start "winning" anything as you use the word, until swing states come into play.

But it doesn't matter. If you see it that way, that's fine.

Well...militia spots still open just in case.

Heh, just now tuning in. Goooooooo Shrub!

they are called "odds." no one knows which state is going which way, there are greater odds that a state may go to a certain candidate. where did you see that all the current states that bush has won were predicted?

cnn is now giving 192 - 112, bush.

I woulden't really care who won, expect the US controls a lot the world, so yeah...

Certainly they are odds. But no one realistically expected the states to go the other way.

Where did I see it? In just about every electoral poll prediction.

Edit: Ok, from the most recent news it looks like there are a couple states that Bush won that were only leaning his way before. So that's a bit more significant, but not by much.

195 Bush
112 Kerry

Yes, I am gonna do this every time the numbers go up,
