Hi Chris.
This is one of the things we'd most like to do. Unfortunately, the issue
is entirely the memory cost of having 2x the number of player models,
and all their associated textures, animations, and speech. Still, we're
still throwing around potential solutions to some of these problems, so
there's always hope.

The reason i emailed was because it struck me how masculine TF2 is. I think the scout at least should have been female.

Portal has struck a chord with female gamers. I don't think that's down alone to girls traditionally prefering Puzzle style games, because the characters are all female too, and games so typically push females to the boundaries of the story. I think there would be a financial incentive for making the Orange Box more fem-friendly with TF2 girls, but I think they'll come too late to make any real difference.

Unlike Internet may have shown you, all women do NOT have breasts the size of watermelons. Besides breasts are soft tissue so they can be squished and compressed quite nicely.

There should be a female voice for the pyro. No extra animations, as anything extra takes at least 6 months for valve to work out.

At least, thats the easy way to do it.....

P.S. Imagine if TF2 was all female! Maybe they should have done that....
