Justin from Empires Mod has just posted renders of three player models modeled by Duke.[br]
[br]Seems mod news is picking up since the release of HL2... encouraging news to those of us who are awaiting these mods!

looks awesome but the imperial soldier's hands are a little weird...or maybe that's just me

well they kinda look like Dr. Breen's hands/fingers. Good job I say Good job!

I really want this mod, I liked it on the BF1942 engine but it was full of bugs. But I'm sure the Source version of this mod will rock.

They look fantastic, but I feel like the arms are either too long or the bodies are too short. They just don't feel right to me, proportionally.

The texture work looks great though. I can't wait to see more.

RabidJester, I kind of agree with you, but we're not going to worry about it until the full SDK comes out with the model exporter tools. Once we go to skin the model to attach it to its skeleton, we'll be able to easily fix any proportionalality issues. I think Duke, our lead artist, might just still be held over from Battlefield 1942 as their player models had longer arms than what we were expecting. Ultimately, our proportions are at the mercy of the game's original skeleton and will match up accordingly in-game with Valve's player models.

The arms are way too long. They look like they reach right down to the character's knees. I'm also a little unsure about the face skinning. It looks a little, well, gay.

Nice clean models overall though, and solid skinning. Keep it up!

hey hey,krenzo!
nice to see ya here
another great former bf mod

still waiting to get accepted into beta krenzi ;(

Nice player models. They need to be adjusted to a proper skeleton though, because the arms look a bit long. But good work!

I see what you mean with the 1942 guys.

I want that damn SDK now!

Wow nice player models, can't await the release of some awesome mods :bounce:

Great idea to implent a commander ( :stare: Natural Selection, Söldner secret wars).
