I noticed that on the main site there is a link to "fan fiction" under features...yet it is empty. Was/is there anything planned for this section?

probably, i don't think the fanfiction section has been all that popular though, not really.. I dunno bring it up with Munro see if he has anything planned.

The future competitions we have planned may involve fan fiction at times and therefore if we still have that section there when we launch the new design, it will probably be reserved for winning pieces of fan fiction.
Although this isn't confirmed, it's what me and Hot Soup were talking about when we were originally planning the competitions. As TDE says, Munro will probably have a better idea of what's going on there.
Either way, you won't see anything else happen to the main site content until the new site design is up.
