Enemies are frozen. Help Please!!

Please help!!! I am half way through half life 2 and all of a sudden none of the enemies will engage. The police just stand there, frozen. If you shoot them, they fall down, but other than that they are frozen.I have rebooted, tried various load saved games, and it still keeps happening.
Any ideas.

Got a screenshot you can show us?

You may want to try to re-enable the AI from the console, perhaps you (or a mod?) disabled it by accident/without you knowing.

Useful information from that search;

Try those things again. e.g. reloading from an old save, or chapter, perhaps attempt to noclip around that area to start a trigger. Or maybe try ai_disable in the console, turning it on then off.

If you do in fact have an illegal copy, theres nothing you can do.

u shoud really get as much evidence as possible of your problem before you post for the frist time, asking for help...........
