Welcome back old buddy!

I think its more a case of Bush is the biggest threat to planet earth since Hitler and Blair is pretending to be his 'friend' so that he doesnt start a world war by ignoring the U.N. and doing as he pleases.....

Oh, he already did that :$

Yeah Bush and Blaire are both hmm how to put it bad but the public of England and America do seem to be very good friends

I have a lot of friends from america who I hold in high regard. Ironically none of them are from the southern states or the west coast.

What (SHOCK) You dont like me?
I dont know I wouldnt mind visiting england but i wouldnt want to live there.

you're not missing much. there's a pub, a soddy pitch where our national football team play footie every now and then, and a dodgy chippy round the corner. [/english stereotype]

EDIT: just realised, much of the dislike towards other nations (and in particular the US) is based on stereotyping. ie. every american citizen living in southern states is an inbred hillbilly type..i dunno, just seems to make up 90% of the dislike here in my opinion *shrugs*

England kicks arse reasons:
No natural disarsters (no earthquakes tornados etc)
No Dangerous animals (the dangerous is problay a pissed off rabit)
Good state of economy
Decent Laws (decent gun laws dont care about violence in games or anything)
Etc

Stuff is a bit pricy though

Considering we're such a small island in comparison to America, we have developed ourselves pretty well.

Are you okay? Is it just the drugs kickin' in? :D

I know we have to pay a TV Licence for BBC and stuff, but at the end of the day it means we can watch 30 minutes of programmes on BBC without any ****ing commercial breaks.

Taxes are way too high. I lose about 23% of my wages every year to taxes. That's about £4000 a year!!!

and taxes are going up its gonna be a bumpy ride ................ uuuuhhh look at all the colours

BlackWolf, you know when people walk into chat rooms or forums saying they're drunk?

That's what you remind me of.

But yeah, taxes are going up. The Conservatives have my vote so far as they've said they'll reduce taxes, and still put more money into schools and hospitals. If they really can do that then Tony Blair can leave Downing Street.

drunk how dare you i would never touch such horrible stuff im just stoned out my face

non no being serious now if the government were to use money right they could probly nearly halve taxes i mean they spend money on loads of crap

Yeah I know. Everyone knows. But we don't need to and it doesn't impress us.

I don't announce it very time I use cocaine.

I dont know. Im from the southern states and most of the people down here arnt like what the northern yankee's have told you all.
I know I make fun of the french and english quite a bit buts in good fun. (ok most of its in good fun)

The relationship between Brits and Americans has strengthened over the last few years.

Indeed. I remember a few months back Blair was talking about something (I can't remember) in front of US goverment officials about something in the past. (Like the war of 1812, or revolutionary war, or something like that) and he said "Well, I know it's a bit late but.... sorry." and everyone cracked up. Hehe. Our relations are definately getting way better.

And yeah, sadly a lot of it is stereotyping.'

*Edit*

And another thing. I find it weird (But cool) that people are able to seperate others from their ancestors. Like how we broke off from England, we both waged war, but some how that just doesn't matter... at all. It's behind us, and that's cool. When I see someone that's English or German, or what have you, I don't think of the history, I think of them now. My grandpa was in WW2 (Both of them, one was on Omaha) and he was telling me that he has no anger towards Germans today. It wasn't them, it was the Nazi's. Ok, I'll shut up now. :)

I herd that lately its not a good idea for Americans to be in Germany.... I think this sucks because I've always wanted to go there.

I guess if I go I'll just wear a button that says. Bush saugt. Verletzen Sie mich nicht!

But hey, I've got no beef with anyone.

I don't quite get it myself. The Middle East has this deep hatred it seems for each other (maybe religious thinking) yet America and England are now on fairly good terms even though we have fought against each other more then once.

I have heard that there is some prejudice against Americans in Europe, not sure if it is true or not though. Most of us here joke around about other countries but I can't really think of any place or people that we actually hate. At least I have yet to meet a fellow American who has said he hates X country.

Well, its heartening to see that not EVERY foreigner hates us.

I dont think you would have a problem in germany if you dont go there as...an american tourist.

Most "prejudice" we have towards americans is just our jokes and making fun, if it comes down to it i would say that most people here quite like americans...even if they wont admit it. We always joke about your country but its never malicious.

I know there are people int his country who genuinly hate other people, but they are likely to be part of the British Nation Party...Nazis in disguise basically.

Or Military personel.
One of my SEAL friends has even been forced to fight off 3 people, in this very country. I can't imagine what would happen in Germany or Russia.
I know that after that one Serial Rapist Sailor, Japan's general society doesn't like American Sailors.
