Hey im on entangelment, and i need some help. im at the place where you have to set up 3 turrets to guard you, and i cannot get past it. can you guys give me some strategies? thanks.

There seems to be an almost infinite number of solutions to this problem, each depending on how the person likes to play.

Personally, I found it useful to place each of the turrets back in its "holder", but obviously the other way around, so they can shoot out (this makes it much harder for them to be knocked over). I then hid in the empty turret bay, with my shotgun ready.

As long as you have enough ammo, you can shoot all of the Combine troops as they go past you, usually before they can get off a shot...

my solution

Down one of the 2 ailse, there is a little cell room. I put all 3 turrets in there facing out. I stood behind them, to assist. It worked a wonder, finally.

When I first played through Entanglement, there was a bug I had where the turrets wouldn't even fire (although I didn't realize it at first).

As for the part with the 3 turrets, bring down the other 2 from the first office to give you a bigger advantage.

I picked one turrent up with the manipulator, and ran round with it.. it worked like a deadly shield :D when another fell, I put down the one I was carrying and picked that one up so I always had 3 on the go.. :E funfun

getting out of the prison the hard way

I was frustrated for a long time because the bad guys kept knocking over the turrets...which makes more bad guys come. So, I stacked up some of the boxes to get up to the 2nd level, went into the office, grabbed the two file cabinets and threw them down onto the first level. Then, I set up the file cabinets going across the turret room with enough space between them to set up the turrets. Then, hide in one of the turret alcoves while the turrets save your butt....it only takes a minute. Overkill? Yes!

that part definitely frustrated me to no end and on my second way back through its frustrasting me again, never thought of going to higher ground, though, i'll have to try that
