See above post.It wont be 6 hours, more like 4.
im guessing for the average person, Portal and Episode 2 will take 7 hours
Episode 2 is supposed to be marginally longer than Episode 2 [/bad_mood]
Besides, Ep1 was just that, Ep1....Ep2 comes with TF2 and Portal, both of which take a helluva lot of work.
I know. Episode One was shorter than Episode One as well won' it?
Not to forget that they're bringing HDR into the original SP of HL2.Finally, some reasoning. This is not just one game, people, but three. And yes Valve hired the guys from Digipen(?), but I'm sure it pulls on the other resources of Valve, such as playtesting, etc. Also, it is being ported to the 360. Which I think is admirable, they are trying to bring an awesome franchise to a wider group of people.
And, let's not fret over how long it takes to develop Ep2/Portal/TF2...until we actually play them all. Then we might discover the amount of development time was worth it.
I was in a bad mood, hence utterly excused.
Episode 2 is supposed to be marginally longer than Episode 2, which provided at least 12 hours gameplay. Once through on the three difficulty settings and once with the commentary.
I think HL2 EP3 will be some where on or around Aperture Science's crashed ship, The Borealis.
no shit sherlock?
Episode Three Will be trying to get out of city 17
Half life 3 will be about getting a little farther
Half life 3 episode 1 will be about getting even farther from city 17
Half life 3 episode 2 will be about getting as far away from city 17 as possible
