Why do you need new footage? You've seen the Source capabilities, you've seen some game aspects, you've seen some facial animations. What do you want more? You wanna see the whole game spoiled?

You must understand this. For them to build a new "demo" to show everyone envolves showing more of the game or working on a demo just for that one time when they could be working on the game. Valve is being really secure about this game's story line and I think they would like to keep it tight as possible until release.

The video's you are seing do no justice to seeing the demo in realtime on a 30 inch plasma screen. I attended e3 this year and when to their hotel showing inwhich they rented a hotel room and had shown it there throughout the day. Even though this IS the same stuff that is already out on binks and shaky cams...it does no justice to seeing it right infront of you on those pretty screens in realtime =D.

They should release the benchmark to the PUBLIC and give us the remaining 3 videos (or two whatever). It's the least they can do.

After all they promised this to us.

I can wait for alot of thing, and I'm no kid either. Is it that hard for you to see people's expectations were raised to a boiling point before they announced the delay a mere 6 days before release?

It's not the wait, it's the way we were reassured that they were sticking to 9/30 date despite all the delay rumors. If they'd let us know in advance, like around the time Doug Lombardi was saying 'the release date is unchanged' and Gerg Coomer was saying '9/30, world wide release' which was a month ago.

Doing something like this a mere 6 days before release, when they know what fans are dying to know (ie. million emails to Gabe, interviews, etc.)

He even had the balls to tell Spitcodfry "we'll see". The way Valve has handled it, they should expect backlash (not that they'd care.)

I just want to see Valve come through on some of what they promised.
