Erm, help?

Hey yall. gonna keep this short and sweet. Iv'e played Half Life 2 for a while now. My computer died and im reinstalling HL2 : Generation. the godamn thing wont accept my cd key, its totally legitable so someone please tell me how to insert the key. xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx? xxxxxxxxxxxx? xxx xxx xxx xxx? Gah im so damn confused.

From the generations pack? As I recall it should be broken down into boxes/fields for you.

In any case, it goes:

And the code is on the panflet thing, right? Bottom right that says

| xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx|

Because that doesn't work.

The codes on my pack were on little stickers, attached to the manual. D:

Double check that you're not mistaking "1" and "I", "5" and "S" etc.

if you already had it installed through steam, you dont have to reenter cdkey

ummmmm yea guys can you not read???? he said he already was playing hl2 so that means he would have already entered it into his steam account which you need in order to play. azkanan just install the game with the cds and play . hl2 shows up in my games in steam correct?

He also said he was trying to play "HL2: Generation" meaning that at some point he's mixing words and we need some clarification (There is no such thing as "HL2 Generation", but there is such thing as HL1 Generations). Are we talking about Half-Life 1 here, or Half-Life 2?
