Error messages during Stress Test, only since latest update?

Running with an ASUS 6600gt with latest nvidia drivers (71.84WHLQ) and only since the very latest update have i got this problem. Am i alone?

i have a bfg 6600gt oc and have noticed the same problem since the newest update installed, now my game locks up on hl2, only began with the update

Happened to me too, there's about 5 error model things near the start.

This also happened on some other update from long ago. Kinda lame to see it again, but oh well, its just the stress test.

Well, at least I know that im not the only person with this. I recently re-installed my OS. I defrag and verify my cache files after reinstalling HL2, Ironically the first thing I tried was a stress-test in CS:S. Everything else runs fine though.

Good good, granted its only in the stress test but it was of concern for me since i was attempting to overclock my ASUS gf6600gt which i was unsuccessful at as although it overclocked (fan was doing overtime) i seemed to lose frames per sec on the stress test so im back to default.

No error message but im getting the error in about 5 error models near the start. didn't happen before. sometimes the colors are purple every other time as well.

9800xt 256mb catalyst 5.3.

Thats what he meant, the models show up as error models but this is due to the update, it happened a while back and when the models actually came back one of them was different (see pic). And about that purple stuff, that happens if you make video changes in-game, such as AA or Vsync (those seem to be the cause most of the time). If you do make those changes remeber to quit and re-open the game to make it go away.
