Errors....

Hi
Every time i try and start up HL2 it sits and loads for awhile and then it crashes, showing 2 error reports. I've tried many things but nothing has worked for me!! if there is anything else that has worked will you please tell me?!?!?!?!?

Click on OK to terminate the program



Thats what happens to css when i try and run it and i get the same thing when i try and run HL2........

I got the same problem with Windows XP
