so at night there's more blood?!
it's written in the steam servers window!

I think that's generally directed at mmo's

It's also just something to get the responsibility off them.

It's described in the Steam FAQ. But basicly just a reminder to guardians and people that it might be more harsh online, since it's not controlled content(like singleplayer).

That's the standard disclaimer for MMORPG's. I'd assume that this is all about potential updates and such, considering there's been some discussion about add-ons over Steam.

UMMM yeah duh. Go play in a cs:s server. Can't contain the hi-res porn being sprayed.

You'll see that on almost everygame that you play that has online abilities.

I don't know what you're saying about 'night'... but, yeah, there's no telling how people may act online.

Am I the only person that this doesn't make sense to? At night? What are you talking about?

Not flaming, I'm just... I don't know. Anyway, Online, yeah, to get a better understanding you should look on Penny Arcade for "Gabe's Greater Online Gaming Thoery" which goes something like...

Internet Access + Anonymity + Headset = Complete ****tard

Spraying porn onto walls? Are you serious...

Hmm...what have I been mission out on?!?!

Every game with a MP component for the past EVER has had this slapped on the game at some point.

i even think EA games say it while you are loading the game...

something about BF1942 and seeing that regularly....

What they should put is "Hell, if you can't monitor your kids why should we?".
It's standard disclaimer anyway used on lots of on-line games.

it is to guard our children !
i say **** the children, bring on the porn and the violence , this is what the internet is ! :)

Thats also in the disclaimer of BF1942 and C&C Generals, it has something to do with the patches I think, as they change the gameplay a bit.

This disclaimer especially applies to T rated games, where online experience can easily be M rated. However, I can barely understand who gives a damn about those ratings anyway. If I want a game, I know what that game is anyway and don't care about the rating, and I don't see why anyone should judge any game on rating either. This is so modern-American...
