I've watched the video ....I really dont see what the big deal is ...a reporter asked questions a woman answered them ...it's not like she represents everyone ..she's one person amongst, what? 100's of thousands? I dont see the reporters indignation or surprise or anything out of the sorts. In fact he just seems to be reinforcing what they may themselves think .........wait a minute ..you dont think ABC is .."the liberal media" ..do you? ...come on that's like saying fox"news" is fair and balanced
I was merely pointing out that this group of evacuees didn't feel the way some people think they should feel. The liberal bias thing is secondary. Is it a scientific poll? No. But it is telling, especially considering that everybody they interviewed were people Bush allegedly doesn't care about.

Do you think they recieved Bush's admission of fault on their water logged TVs? I doubt it, do you think they know any more than any one else how local and federal chains of command handle emergency/disaster situations? I doubt it... And also, does it really matter which branch of government is to blame? If you ask me, they all need a reorganizing, and since the republicans are in the majority you and your fellow believers have very little wiggle room, but thats the situation you put yourselfs in. Its not our fault, now suck it up and make your representatives do their damn job. Quit trying to excuse them from it.

Well maybe they do feel that way, and maybe there sort of right.
The administration however imo holds the responcability in the end.
I doubt the local councils are equiped to deal with this sort of thing, they don't really have the authority to do much in that situation.

Honestly, who gives a shit? If, for example, I was going to blame the feds, I'd be blaming Bush and his people for their incompetence and not their republican-ness. Ditto for local government.
And Innervision too. Republicans suck, democrats suck, is that all there is to American politics?
Also, does no-one else agree that a leader accepts overall responsibility for everyone in his own damn country?

I did not read the article because I looked at the link, looked at Cptstern's first post in this thread, and realized he was probably right, I left my .02... I didn't say one thing about one democrat, I said republicans are int he majority, and they are, maybe not in L.A. but I was refering to a more broader majority.
