I was going for defensive tanking in my Drake for a while. Then it became abundantly clear that mining in WH space with an Osprey isn't gonna cut it. Over 73 rocks to mine and only 1 Hulk pilot isn't great. So I got a Retriever and I should be able to pilot it in 3 weeks. I got GMan 911 in my corp too. Probably gonna use it before me. Selling Tech 3 ships for 2Bil each, selling minerals, doing lvl 4 missions, selling sleeper loot, is tons of ISK. Plus nobody can find us in this WH! It's a good thing too because a corp just joined our alliance and was war dec'd. So we are just hiding and mining in this WH.

Yea I know, I mean more like, if you spec in mining you should at least get it up to 4

Mining barge skill only gives 3% better yield for Strip Miners per level on those ships.

Well, when you're pulling 25k ore on a cycle, that 3% can come in handy! Hell, my 8% from Mining Foreman + 7% MLU +12% for the lvl 3 Mining Barge is quite nice.

Then again, I'm just mainly salvaging lvl 2 missions right now, trying to get to lvl 3's. I can fully tank the 2's finally in my drake. Working on my shield skills atm.

I'm going for Mining 5 because right now we only have Strip Miner II's in the POS. For 3 weeks we have not found an exit to known space. We are running out of fuel and have an estimated 1 bil ISK in minerals alone. My CEO podded himself and it sounds like we are pulling out. With the new patch we are hoping a new WH opens to high-sec. Our corp is now more of a merc corp and I'm told once you do, you can never go back. Your literally put on a hit list forever. So the mining skills are good to have but now I'm gonna work on my Passive Tank for Drake for the elite cert then train enough skills for a BS. I'll probably get a Raven too.

T2 torp fitted raven is pretty damn dirty but its going to take so long to train.

You guys seem to be skilling up pretty fast

I have just had to buy a new clone my self to cover my skill points, the damn thing cost me 8mil but covers 52mil sp. I'm sure it wont last long.

Dude, get on learning 5 asap! really good skill, it will really beef up your attributes and get things training quicker. Preatty short skill too, 5 days i think.

For me -

Mak: Currently training towards my first capital ship, either a moros or thanatos.

Bellend: Atm she is just getting here learning skills up to scratch but will soon be moving on to training for a guardian which will be good support for mak running plexs.

After that ill be moving onto minmitar and dictors.

As of now, I'm getting my shield and missile launcher operations up. Then I'll probably work my way towards a a Battleship...the Raven looks MIGHTY tasty. I'm kind of curious, after I'm done with my Drake how well I'd be able to sit in Lvl IV missions.

Or you could train towards a nighthalk, you need battle cruiser 5, leadership 5 and caldari cruiser 5. It will probly take a good cople of months but it will give you access to the best mission runner in the game

Ravens solo missions so damn easy, see how rich you are when the time comes and maybe even looking into getting a CNR. They have raelly got a lot cheaper since the golem came out.

Yeah I'm finishing up my Learning skills and I will be going for the bare minimum to just fly a Raven. Once I get into it, I will have tons of ISK and I can worry about my cap issues, etc. Don't do level 5 missions because they are in low sec btw.

My alliance runs level 5s every week. Lowsec ain't too bad if there's a bunch of you and you're careful/know what you're doing.

What kind of profit do you make on lvl5's? From what I heard they are a pain in the ass because they are full of neut towers.

Yeah level 5s you need a fleet. Dunno what profit is like haven't done one yet myself. Think we do them mostly for the fleet practice and large amounts of LP rather than isk.

Kinda complicated right now. I got every refining skill book along with a Retriever that could still be in the failed WH experience. I got my first battleship, a Raven:

It's an ugly ship that is slow but has an amazing amount of fitting modules on it. You really feel like Cpt. Kirk when you fly it. I can't really use it though because my support skills suck! I did my 3rd level 4 mission last night. My first I got warp scrambled in a Drake by drones and blew up. My second time I gave up after wasting missiles on BS rats. So last night I did pretty good until I had BS, but I had a friend help me. The boss at the end shield repped for 1k in damage every 10sec so I had to have help. So right now I'm working on my missile skills, making my Drake really lethal.
