yeah..if I ever break 100 itll be at a track...not on an interstate.

I dislike people that race their cars or take them to dangerous speeds outside of a racetrack.

It's all fun and games until you kill somebody. Then it's not so great anymore.

Edit: I wasn't talking about anyone here specifically, just to be clear. I was just giving my opinion on excessive speeding in general.

Scratch that, I just read Ikerous's post. I hope you were somewhat exagerating Ikerous. It's great to drive 70 in a 45 until someone pulls out in front of you and you side swipe them and crush the driver.

only ticket i got was on my street, told the judge that i was speeding as well, and 6 months later it was stricken from my record, so legally, i've never really gotten a ticket...

Now that you mention it just a week ago two kids were racing down a busy highway not far from my house, they flew through an intersection slamming into a car killing an 80 year old woman. One of the kids died and the other one lived and is parilized from the waist down.

When the local paper talked to a friend of the one that died he had this to say, "All I can say is she was at the wrong place at the right time".

Needless to say that remark disturbed me. :|

The two 11 year old boys that would ride down my street at 12AM and wake us up on their motorbikes died last Monday two streets from my house when they hit a truck. Speeding does kill.

During hurricane Charley (I bielieve it was Charley, maybe Frances) 2 motorcycle riders died after hitting a tree that had fallen in the road at speeds of an estimated 90 + MPH.

Close to me recently, there was a guy on his motorcycle that popped a wheelie on rt. 340 at 70 mph, he wasnt wearing any pants...anyway, he slammed into the back of a semi and died instantly. He had friends in the car recording it for a stunt riding movie.
