Yes, they're nerdy, they're lame, and they prove what a no-life dork you are; But damn, it rocks having them!
The Half-Life 2-dreams, that is. I've had 4 , as far as I know..
The first one was before Sept 30 and probably in the state when I felt as if there is nothing like HL2, couldn't stop thinking about it.. Well, the dream was short and ended as I woke up in the morning.
It was basically like I just got the game and it was just a huge black room with some spotlights here and there, pointing at stuff like the H.E.V suit and headcrabs, and even the G-Man.. It ended when I walked to a headcrab and it jumped onto my face, hehe..
The second one was a while after it had been delayed. In the dream VALVe had released a demo and I was really happy, the stuff I remember about the demo was a big trashed house and you ran on top of the ruins with combine guys shooting at ya.. Lots of grey stuff and in the middle of the day.
The third one was more like a dark one, with sewers and dark green stuff. The kinda stuff you'd see in a nightmare.. But it was like it was a great moment, I had accidently teleported myself to a place in the game where you followed Barney on a long street and he always got suddenly killed by a Strider, and I only had the time of the dream to figure out how to save him.. Then I woke up. :rolling:
The fourth one was just a week ago, It was by far the coolest one. It was like the whole game in a single map, with lots of areas to run around and shoot in. It had a little of UT2004-atmosphere since I had played it alot before I went to sleep..
A really cool area was a big spacedock thingie with lots of crates and stuff to hide behind, I hid from a Combine-Trooper squad.. I ran around on the map over and over again to fight stuff, basically.
Now, tell the rest of the HL2 community about your HL2-dreams!
(Yeah, I know alot of people will say "LOL you really do have no life if you dream about the game LOOOLLZZ N00BZ". Please spare us comments like those.)
