Ok. For AU$83 I have:

Half life 2
Counter-Strike:Source
Half Life Deathmatch
Half Life: Source
Day of Defeat: Source (coming soon)

All of this for a single price of a standard game. I mean there is a bloody HL2DM map released already. We will be playing HL2DM this for a while. What about mods coming out...Half-Life 2 is going to have so much life in it now.

We got what we all wanted HL2DM. Valve have done everything in there power to make the community happy. They are trying really hard guys. Am I a Valve fanboy? bloody hell I am!!! Because I'm one fan that is extremly happy with what I paid for. The product I paid for is value for money to the MAX!

Oh and Team Fortress 2 is coming aswell. Which I will buy because they deserve it!

What about Natural Selection? Heard they might be porting soon...

Wow. Just.. wow. The deathmatch is incredible, I am just puzzled how did they make the Manipulator tick! Beautiful.

Except the lag. It's really choppy and when someone shoots, I hear a lot of bursts. But it's not hard to resist!

I'm happy...the SDK is out now the mods can start development..

What's better than that? A free HL2dm that is actually pretty fun. It seems for me when u first join its laggy but after a while the lag dies down.

Just server admin tools and VAC to do now.....

They have now realeased two multiplayer source games and have yet to provide any usefult tools for administering the first game yet let alone the second.

Add to that the lack of VAC updates for hl1 based games for 3 months and we are just getting more and more games with less and less legitimate players with less ways for the admins to control it.

HL2DM is great, CSS can be great. CS, DoD etc are great. Not being able to play them without having to question the skills of everyone that kills you is not great.

Maybe I'm just a cynic.

U monster computer geeks have all kinda problems with hl2...stuttering...and all the problems you are saying that is in hl2dm, while my little piece of hardware @ 1.3 ghz, 256 Ram, geforce 4mx440 runs it problem free... so much for the update huh

MP is very fun, lil laggy in places but still....omg


I have never had problems with valve, steam or half life 2 not a hitch, ive defended em elsewhere because they have always answered the communities call.
