Evil BF2142 Error.

Hi, can you guys help me with an error on the BF2142 demo?

I think the consensus is that you have to install the latest version of DirectX. Or your drivers. Or something like that.

Yea, I fixed it, I reupdated DX and reinstalled 2142 and it worked. Thanks for the hel tho Stiggy. <3.

Nightshade, dunno if this'll help but the first log in screen you see you need to log-in with an EA account, not a Gamespy account. Then once you've logged in you create a character. Dunno if you're trying to create a character on the log in screen or something. Gah i dunno

Could be worse. I went to register a name, said it was already taken. So I go to login with that name, and then it says the name doesnt exist...

That's how it was with CyberPitz when I tried making that account on BF2...

Hence why I take the very homoerotic "Cyb3rPitz"..

Yes it's a tad broken, for some people even when they made a fresh ea.com account they had to wait before they could use it. I made mine back when I registered BF2 so I had no issues signing in.
