Only about £6, just on Steam now.

It's a Dungeon Keeper style game, really good fun! Worth picking up. :D Anyone else have it?

Great game that not many people are aware of. The game was a bit buggy when it first came out but i fell in love with it right away. If you enjoy games such as TF 2 and the NOLF series then this should not disappoint you. The art direction and humor is very similar to those games. I loved the soundtrack even more. It's a shame that Elixir Studios went out of business. They only made two games. You should also try out Republic: The Revolution if you can find it out there.

Just to give you a taste of the soundtrack. I Am a sucker for good orchestral music.
Especially when it's game related. The composer is a guy named James Hannigan.

Republic was ahead of its time.

I came across this a long long time ago, and upon recieving the Orange Box, TF2 looked to me like a multiplayer FPS version of Evil Genius. Which it practically is.

I played the demo a while ago and loved that, didn't realise it was on steam.

buying now.

Please start spelling Genius right.
Or your puns just sound silly.

I got it for free a loooong time ago off of Fileplanet from being a subscriber, played it a while, maybe I was a bit too young to really like it. I might try it again, eventually.

Although I doubt it.

Great game, although it gets tedious and hard, since the gameplay is not as fluid as in Dungeon Keeper.

So, gravedigger and etc yeah yeah.

But someone, please, tell me how the **** research work. They say that they are supposed to walk around taking notes and shit, making research available but it just takes so much ****ing time! I have tons of scientists and tech guys running around but still! Do I seriously need to wait hours for them to unlock new things? I have hardly any minion slots for guards and mercs left.

Elaborate death traps ftw. It's kind of like if The Sims embraced the morbid things you can do and amped up the ridiculousness of it all. Great game for a time.

Republic was ahead of its time.

Though it was overhyped a ton and a shadow of its former self when it was released sadly.

Still, it was a good and unique game, shame the sequel never materialized.

So? No one knows how that shit works? This is seriously annoying.
The only thing I find online is what I need to combine to create stuff, but I fail to see how that helps me when those items aren't even an option.

I played this game for a little while and I found it entertaining... but I ultimately quit when I was getting attacked constantly and my traps stopped working because of retarded tiny holes people could get through and the utter lack of explanation as to how things worked initially leading to a terrible starting design.
