I still can't believe this... Dime was the greatest.

Why do people have to get so upset over the breakup. If that indeed was what he was upset about he just singlehandedly crushed the chances of pantera ever reforming. People like that should be executed immediately following conviction. I hated pantera but JESUS MAN they had talent.

I had never heard of Damageplan or Dimebag or any of those guys (I had heard of Panterra though) before this. Now I guess Ill check out their music.

This is so wrong. It's bullshit man. Dime is a ****ing guitar legend. I picked up the guitar because of Dime. This is a sad day for music. I'm never going to foget Dime.

PANTERA WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVOURITE BAND.

It wasn't even Dimebag's fault that Pantera broke up. Any metal head knows this. Now that whore Tipper Gore will proabably be all over this bringing back the old case that metal music causes violence.

This sucks for the guys in Damage Plan too because with out dime's distinctive sound their music won't ever be the same and they are a really good band too.

Yeah...respect, to come into a thread for people to share thier condolences and blather off some shit about how you dont care and dislike his musical style falls right along the guildlines of "worlds biggest asshole" (It also suggests you knew exactly who he was, but we wont get into that)...and if you cant understand why peple called you an asshole for it then yes, you are a retard. Exept I think even a retard would have the decency to realize the way to show respect wouldve been to STFU and move on without saying shit.

That really sucks.

I'd seen Damage Plan once at a Disturbed concert, and I really didn't care for them or Pantera much. Still, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, especially during a show with hundreds of people watching.

I live in Columbus and I saw my first big concert in Alrosa (Trapt). :(

I wanted to meet Dime aswell. That was one of the things I really wanted to do. I guess there is still Vinnie, Phil, Rex and also Zakk would be cool too.
