Unbelievably exited. The reviews today aren't going to help any, either.
 
me too :( i hope amazon brings me mine tomorrow...i really dont know whether to expect it or not.
 
game just sent me an e-mail saying they're readying to dispatch it :D

plus every other game i've preordered from them has come dead on the day of release

seeing as I will be on my way to work when activation starts I'm doing my best not to get that fussed over it.

I'll have a look at the screenshots that people post until I get home and activate my steam copy.

Hehe well wouldnt it be funny, if steam struggles with the immense load of HL2 registering and goes down for a few days as Munro believes...then you've lost a day of work! boo ya.
 
Im so excited I feel sick and nauseaus with anticipation!
I've never felt this excited about a game before - tried to play half life again but gave up at those shitty nades lolol....

I don't see an option for my excitement, so I will not vote on the poll.

You see... I know i'm extremely excited about half-life 2, but for some reason my hype and excitement is in a great depression, and i'm not shivering with anticipation like I usually am. Instead, I sit here patiently waiting, not even anxious about the release. I wish I were more excited, because I know Hl2 is gonna be an amazing game.

However,I know come the hour it is for me to activate it, I'm going to be INCREDIBLY excited. Its inevitable. I'm going to get jittery, and nervous, and excited and start shivering and shaking. It'll be great! Then of course i'll start screaming, "I got it I got it!" again and again. Heh.

Eh, I don't care. It's paid vacation time :) As for Steam dying, this is not 200,000 people downloading 4GB of data. It's a probably 25Kb packet. I don't think there will be a problem.
 
I'm not really that excited, I'm reserving it for "Unlocking Half-Life 2 Files: 99%"
 
I'm starting to get quite exited yes. I haven't urinated or soiled myself, but still looking forward to the release.
 
There will be people downloading it, and something like the large amount of people signing on will knock out the registering system which allows you to log on, which is a separate server to the one to run steam. So basically no one will be able to log in. what a nasty thing to happen...
 
usually I would have been dead with anticipation, thankfully I have been playing WoW and it is such an awesome game I have taken a lil vacation from Hl2, and it's release date..... and now its coming out tomorrow and I cannot wait!

I'm so much looking forward to this game. Since i played the first game i looked forward to hl2 i have just checked my mail and it's in post :E ..but how do i sleep tonight?i just dont think i will be able to
i have already turned my mobile off and i guess the phone as soon as the game is @ my door.You could say im really looking forward to tomorow but i feel more the same as i did as child waiting for xmass day up all night not sleeping...its that bad...i just carnt wait it's getting hard i'm going to try stop looking @ the clock wishing the hours away

No worries. I only meant MENTALLY peeing your pants =). I'm so excited this is all I'm paying attention to during Calculus lol.

same as me man! since the first i have been to!! But the last couple of years i was REALLY getting excited when the first info/screens came about!

when i new about hl2 when i was playing the original yes i was happy but i was too busy playing hl!

I can only quantify my excitement through some kind of a numerical scale. At a guess it would be somewhere around Eleventy-Six.

I'm going to bed at 6:45, and getting up at 2:45. Don't feel like losing sleep, especially since I'm leaving for work at 4:50, getting back in 3 hours....

But yeah, can't wait..

I actually voted "I'm so excited... wait no I'm not." but that only because im sick and my computer is at repairs...
 
I'll keep playing Halo 2 all the night before and when it unlocks...I won't be at my computer :( But I am excited
 
Well to be honest... quite excited. I will elaborate; When i was a kid, xmas was the best thing ever created! December was a month filled with wait, excitement and joy.. come xmas i would lay in my bed, trying to sleep but i could not, so often i went up, silently walking down the stairs, searching every nook and cranny hoping to find the place my parents hid all the gifts. Joyously searching around for stuff.

Summer holidays was the second best ever created, because that meant travelling to exsotic places (often not furter away then to the next county). Just seeing my father making ready the car for a trip made me fill with joy, and the day before we were travelling was the longest days i can remember! It took forever!

This is what i feel now. ... xmas and summer holiday combined!
 
Well i've been up since 04:30 been for 2hour walk got food in and just waiting for post :).I'll be sure to post after i've had look @ it.
 
I was very excited before, but as I entered this site, it doubled. Wish I didnt..Damn hype!
well, I havent even bought the game, and as it wont work on my computer, I have to play it on my fathers but he definetly needs a new graphic card wich hes decided getting on christmas.
yep, waiting Christmas time then....but theres always other games to play in the meantime
 
Well i have just blast on counter strike seems ok dont like the on ice movement much but was first time on suppose i'll get used to it...anyway i have just had look @ hlf2 and so far it rocks just the start when your in city is well kewl.Well i've got some redbull and munch i'm gonna play for a while.I'm gonna play this like any nice thing in life im not gonna over play it.I have set myself 5hour time limit:p like ill keep to that lolz.anyway hope you all enjoy it as much as im doing

I was less exited this week than I expected to be at that time. But today I really want to play it, I'm at school now and I read all those messages 'I've played HL2!!! It's the best friggin game evah!' and that's really driving my nuts :(
