Just got my exam results a couple of days ago... Got a First Class Honours Degree in Physics :D
Got an A- grade in my dissertation that I was worried about.

So I've been pretty drunk the past couple of days.

I'm graduating properly in July, then I'll have to join the workforce somehow.

I'm no longer a student, I am unemployed! Woohoo! Hopefully that won't last too long.

So, I think it's exam season for a lot of people, how did you do? Hope everyone got the results they were looking for.

What are you going to do in the future now you are educated?

Trying to get a graduate job, but it's more difficult than doing exams I feel. Had a couple of unsuccessful interviews, but that's practice, I'm improving my technique. Bluergh, bureacracy and formalities etc.

You have to wait until August to get your results right? Sure they'll turn out ok.

I fail. At revision. Dunno why.. just can't do it ;(

I know I'm fking up my future.. just can't help it :| I know I'm sorta clever, and I should be doin well.. just.. ehhhh

bleh, i get my A2 results in august, such a long time to wait, got 7 more exams too :( but then off to capri for a week in the sun. Thing is i always get nervous about my results not being good enough, for GCSEs and AS levels it didn't matter that much, but this year its for uni :/

Indeed, I know that feeling..

*wait... what the **** am I doing on halflife2.net! DO PHYSICS YOU IDIOT!*

An education doesn't instantly equate to a good job. I got almost straight A's in my GCSEs, and in my A-Levels, I got a B in Computing, a B in English, a D in Physics, and a D in Chemistry. And I work a poor job.

Still, I didn't really revise - it's one thing I have trouble doing. It tends to be a last minuite cram session for me, and it's always worked.

Got people with high expectations?

I feel my parents have brain washed me into thinking whatever I get still isn't good enough. Anything below an A or A* is disappointing to everyone for me. :|

But **** it, I'm managing fine doing just above average.

Ooh, snap Angry Lawyer, I don't see why teachers say against it, it works for me. Always shows them up if I get high grades and they ask me in front of the class how much I revised...

If anyone tells you an A- for anything is dissapointing, they're lying out of their arse. :)

Congrats mate!

A First Class Honours Degree always sounds pretty impressive to the girls. More impressive than "I got an A" anyway.

Nice one!

Really, well done.:D

Still waiting for my results. I'm praying that I pass B&O this year so I don't have to retake it again. I should've revised better than I did. I didn't do very much and left it to the last minute like usual.

How come you got your results so early? Do they do the last year differently? I probably won't be getting mine until around July/September.

Congrats! My exams started last Friday and my last one is on the 23th June :(

M uni marks the papers in about 2 or 3 weeks, and we get the results back quickly.

Nah in my case, it's anything below a B that's evil :P (But I am doing A levels.. not clue what you're doing)

ffs Physics in 3 days. I'm actually ****ed. I'm gonna revise like hell for next few days :)

I've been having exams the past week. I'm supposed to be getting high grades in maths and shit (which means revising A LOT) but I just can't seem to put the effort in - much like Badger.
Welsh exam tomorrow. Cba to get anything above a C in that.

I working my ass off to, I don't know what the hell happenned this semester. I allways get good/average grades, but latly it has been terrible, If I fail 2 more I'm out of the school. I can't tell what went wrong, I did all my homework, I really participated in class but I still got bad grades, my parents are desapointed, but worst of all, I'm desapointed. Well I should be studying, good luck to all of you guys !

General studies my arse! Its two physics exams and a maths exam!

Luvly!

Owch. That's gotta hurt! Did half of Phy4 today..and will do Phy5 tomorrow, then Phy5 + Phy4 Wednesday.. then pwn those exams :D

fo shizzle

i've got a lovely economics exam tomorrow on the EU. got around an A in all the mock papers in class, then managed to screw up the january exam and get a D, so it's a resit for me :(

I have the "end tests" on 6.29, 6.30, 7.1, 7.2.....

11 subjects.

:x

I should be getting mine back soon.

I have failed chemistry, there is no doubt about it :( Bit pathetic really, can't even get 40%

dont worry, I got a 33% in physics in grade 13 ...dropped it by first semester. Best decision as it brought down my gpa

I can't drop it, it's a pre-requisite for the next year. Which is frigging annoying, because I can do the chemistry next year but I can't this year (lots o' maths)

see if you can get a tutor ...it may help. You may be able to find a free tutor from the education dept at the local university ...many future teachers are willing to tutor for free (or relatively cheap)

if that fails get yourself a study buddy ...someone smarter than you perferably :)

YEY, english and religion crap tommorow.

I've got RE tomorrow as well. Its one exam, no coursework, no modules, if you **** up, you **** up the whole thing.

Good thing its only RE.

Early-entry GCSEs in case anyone was interested. Doing Maths Modular, RE, Science Modular, Media (Well thats done now) early. Don't even know what we're going to be doing for Year 11, think we just go over it all again for another shot at a higher grade. :|

Speaking of school, we had a taster day at a local 6th form, went to a Psychology taster, a Computing taster and a Law taster.

Computing seems ok, mostly programming I think (Delphi 5 in the taster), although I'd like to learn more hands on about building computers (a goal for me once I've got a job and money to buy decent parts) without taking out another course.

Law was boring as hell, think thats the final nail in the coffin for that career path although I considered it a while ago.

Psychology was interesting. Can't see it as a career, but I might like to try it at A level.

Still don't have a clue what I want to do afterwards though, so I'm not picking GCSE's or A levels leading to a certain career.

Hmph, my exams don't come through 'til mid-august :(
