they continue to talk about a website claiming that they are starting a jihad in london, etc. A group of Al-queda(sp?). Anyone happen to know what the URL is? Curious as to what they say.
It's all in arabic you'll have a hard time translating me thinks :/

Bromley - not a nice walk, but given the choice i'd probably do the same.

Hey, they can stop off at my place for some tea and crumpets.

This is awful though, I'm getting really worried about my brother - hopefully he's just stuck somewhere in all the commotion, but I would've thought he'd go to work at some point - we've rang up his work and he hasn't been in today at all.

Good luck, I'm sure he will be ok though. :)

I think the death toll is greattly understated. Just the bomb on a crowded bus would have killed a dozen people.

From the Islamic website.
Report: Islamic Group Claims London Blasts
By Associated Press
CAIRO, Egypt -- A group calling itself "The Secret Organization of al-Qaida in Europe" has posted a claim of responsibility for the series of blasts in London, saying they were in retaliation for Britain's involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The statement was published on a Web site popular with Islamic militants, according to Der Spiegel magazine in Berlin, which republished the text on its own Web site.

"Rejoice, Islamic nation. Rejoice, Arab world. The time has come for vengeance against the Zionist crusader government of Britain in response to the massacres Britain committed in Iraq and Afghanistan," said the statement, which was translated by The Associated Press in Cairo.

The authenticity of the message could not be immediately confirmed.

"The heroic mujahedeen carried out a blessed attack in London, and now Britain is burning with fear and terror, from north to south, east to west," the statement said.

"We warned the British government repeated. We have carried out our promise and carried out a military attack in Britain after great efforts by the heroic mujahedeen over a long period to ensure its success."

"We continue to warn the governments of Denmark and Italy and all crusader governments that they will receive the same punishment if they do not withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan," the statement went on.

It was signed: "The Secret Organization of al-Qaida in Europe."

This reminds me of morning of 9-11, only not as severe.

my condolences to all the victems, victem's families and for brits in general ...this is ****ing barbaric. Thanks Bush, Blair for bringing terror to our (collectively, I'm not british) doorstep

I just woke up and CNN was covering it, pretty crazy stuff...hope there isn't too many injuries/deaths

I can't beleive the terrorists can call this a military attack! I was mass murder of innocent people who had nothing to do with the government.

stuff like this makes me just want to kill every terrorist i can find... you just DON'T target civilians.. it's f*cking inhuman... every terrorist responsible for this should be found and publicly executed

That's the way all terrorists work, they are complete cowards, always attacking innocents.

It is true. complete cowards yet they cant exactly do what they believe they have to do publically

Apart from wanting to beat the shit outta Al-Qaeda, I would really like to tell Tony Blair what a ****ing prick he is.

If he wasn't such a brown nosing moron we wouldn't have Britain being attacked.

7th of the 7th, 7 Explosions, reported in 4 sites.

EDIT: Shite, sorry for the double post :|

Somebody slap me.

Indeed, this kind of thing was warned against for ages, as a consequence of the policies we were adopting. The govt will now brush over the opposition they received and appear outraged. WE, the people of Britain, are outraged! At every group who tries to screw us in the arse, politicians or terrorists. STAND FIRM.

Huh? BBC says 4 explosions only.

Charles Clark only confirmed 4 explosions in his address to the Commons, for some reason. Everywhere else is reporting 6 or 7.

why did they attack london? cant be "for the hell of it" or "just because" or even "we're terrorists that's what we do" ...I mean why didnt they bomb Helsinki? or Kuala Lampur, why london? ...blame who's ever responsible for the dispicable act, but save some blame for Blair and Bush for they set the ball in motion

A lot of people over here are saying they reckon it was probably the perfec time to strike when everyone was off guard and celebrating the fact that we won the bid for the 2012 olympics.

and yes it is 7 atm

Oh man oh man...
I just heard about this.
45 dead, 1000 wounded, and 150 serious injuries...
****ing terrorist cocksuckers.

My condolences to all the families in the UK. :(

Madrid was attacked too.

But they also had troops in Iraq at the time.

This source says 4

At least two people have been killed and scores injured after three blasts on the Underground network and another on a double-decker bus in London.

On the other hand this one says 7

Two people have been killed and scores injured after at least seven blasts on the underground network and a double-decker bus in London. Here passengers flood onto the streets from Kings Cross station.

CNN says 4 also.

Radio Five Live saying now that the earlier reports of more explosions were due to people exiting from different stations, and also that there was one bus explosion which was mistakenly reported to have happened in 3 different places.

Apparently the Polish Government building is on fire, but that is said to be a construction work.

trying to send out a political message still doesn;t make it acceptable or right for them to attack civilians, and this was a blatant attack on CIVILIANS.. these are innocent people trying to get to work, and this is not the way to go about protesting troops in Iraq and politics overseas

Hmmm, so that's how they build their houses... Interesting...

hi guys
check out the BBC web site, was a terrorist attack, "new group" claimed responsibility latest news says 4 tube stations hit and 1 bus hit, no accurate count on casulaties yet

just heard that my niece should have been on one of the trains this morn but her course got cancelled

The full story won't be until tommorow. Until then all we will get will be conflicting reports about number of casualties and bombs.

This wasn't unexpected, and not because of Britains current policies. Any one surprised by this attack occuring is someone who has become far too complacant.

Naturally my condolances go out to all of London right now.

A previously unknown group, yes. They call themselves Group of al-Qaeda of Jihad Organization in Europe. I sen dout my condolence to all those in England and London. I too experienced a terrorist attack close to home and I know how you feel. The consequences will give you a whole new look on life. Just remember not to fear because if you do, the terrorists win.

Great words ray_MAN

I really hope that GB won't react like the US after 9/11. One Iraq is enough.

But of course my condolances to everybody in London who lost somebody precious.
